2008/09 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING
The semifinals of the national chess championship have been very vibrant, lot of good players have been eliminated, others have fought like lions to earn a spot in the final stage, they closed the final versions of chess a few years ago have been implemented have revolutionized the national competition, I am convinced that this is the way that the majority prefers competition like this system to get the national champion.
This my second participation of the 5 versions that have been made and no doubt is a real merit to be here, I had the honor of being in the first version of this type of tournament there in 2005, when FENACH created a new light, I remember a Qualifier tournament was open to more than 100 chess player in the Chilean Hispanic Association on that occasion was the only tournament to qualify and quotas were 8, I witnessed International Masters were eliminated, I then failed to qualify, I think that by my last name was with me and also my game well, is that in sports there is less luck is the chess games fit me 2 hours and achieved 8 th place and classification in the final stage to my surprise were invited to the Grand Master Rodrigo Vasquez, who accept major change, contrary to typical open to get the champion (for a national chess always an honor to meet with National GM, I hope to see a day these final stages to Morovic also other great players well understood outside the country, that life passes quickly and that if the history of Chile found on their land do not play at home, lose credibility, I hope not For some strong teachers and not be remembered as the legendary Chilean Fischer, however badly at some point this thing or prizes, oh most important things I think which is to measure forces with local chess) .- Well the Great GM Rodrigo Vasquez is a model and did not disappoint and took the first National Championship and I am in history, the blood of his plays were on national boards and that for a local chess is golden, in recent years have been applying new qualifying stages, there have been more quotas and tournaments conducted in regions, has been very well supported by new institutions such as the Foundation for Chess.
In this new stage of Elimination 2009 and in the same format, after many years I have managed to once again rank as important Final, now with 80 players and only 4 quotas for Santiago, classified in 2 º per set with another strong teachers and well to better illustrate the tension of the matches I've decided to upload one of my games which left me with an important lesson to draw up further openings or if not your chances are minimal ...

But I clearly indicates that the white line you want the other options would dare, a challenge ... 11.c4 Qd8 10.Bd2!? The only way challenge is filed against this move, I think with Bg5 not solve the problem of motion of lady who made my opponent and the challenge is not nearly as accepting defeat in a theoretical duel, seeking to create problems the only problem was that Llorens line known as the palm of your hand ..
