TRAINING FOR A FEATURE FILM BUSINESS IN SALTA.

Annual Film Workshop in Salta, launched in October 2000, is an unprecedented project in Northwest as it has availability of professional HDV equipment to ensure the completion of filming, script awards through competitive National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) as one way to finance the projects, preparation of technical personnel in the region.

One of the main intentions of the workshop is to enable a creative space with local artists, nurturing the talent of musicians, films, plastics, designers, writers, actors, etc. otherwise not have access to national film industry.

With 2nd Annual Workshop just shot the film Pallca First prize winner of National Screenwriting Competition on Children and Youth INCAA. Pallca is the first national film has all the Indian actors. Is this a unique situation in the country. The film will open commercially in 2011.
