The theater workshop of the School of Psychology presented the work Blood Wedding, Federico Garcia Lorca, in the Auditorium Ricardo Flores Magon under the direction of Viridiana Sanchez and Daniela Solis Castañeda, through the Network of University Student Theater III, spring 2011 theatrical circuit.
Blood Wedding tells the story of a wedding in a village where morality ingrained habits weighs more than feelings and decisions. The bride who marries still in love with her old boyfriend and the day of the ceremony gets away with it. The husband left the pursuing and, when found, challenges her lover to a duel with knives which both die.
Among the main actors are Joana Gabriela Rodriguez, Nisa Castro, Iliana Sarai Lopez, Orlando Isai Camarillo, Axler Yépez and Daniel Ramirez. The presentations of the work in the Faculty continue waiting for a larger audience. Today was held in the Auditorium Ricardo Flores Magon, Faculty of Political and Social Sciences a theatrical shows performed by students and about students, which had different thematic nature pertaining to youth.
